Understanding Adolescent Behavior

The goals of this workshop are to assist professionals working with youth inunderstanding the nature and social conditions surrounding youth, and learn to more collectively work toward understanding the content and the process that govern such behavior during the development stage entitled adolescence.

The goal of TRUTHLINK is to enhance the awareness of communities, professionals, families and youth by assisting them in achieving a better understanding of who they are and what is their true purpose in life. We promote this awareness by providing them with useful information, mind-stimulating illustrations, and real life demonstrations that are designed to assist them in learning better ways of living. As the audience begins to learn more, their confidence level is increased. With gained knowledge and added confidence, the result is a positive feeling of self worth and a stronger positive self-image.

Student Presentations

To address youth, TRUTHLINK uses a threefold concept that includes prevention, intervention, and postvention. What TRUTHLINK does is strategically tap into the energy base of the audience and, unsuspectingly, begins to apply the preventive aspect of the presentation.
